programs are offered to prepare for the celebration of sacraments.
Each provides opportunities to minister.

Baptism and Beyond
Welcome Your Baby: Baptism
Preparation Team (Time and Talent #401)
Couples who help to prepare parents
for the baptism of their baby by facilitating a workshop covering
the sacred dimension of parenting and the sacrament of Baptism.
Workshops are held every other month on the second and third Sundays
from 10am – Noon.
Baptismal
Coordinators (Time and Talent #402)
Individuals who are responsible for
welcoming, coordinating and directing the movement of the parents,
with their babies to be baptized at weekend liturgies. Available at
one of the weekend liturgies the first weekend of each month,
excluding Advent and Lent.
Welcome Your Toddler (12 - 18
months) (Time and
Talent #403)
Couples who facilitate a workshop
to help parents in directing, disciplining and loving their child
(ages 12-18 months) from a Catholic Christian perspective. Training
session required and meeting with couples on a rotating basis.
Workshops are scheduled once each quarter.
Welcome Your Two Year Old (18-24
months) (Time and
Talent #404)
Couples who facilitate a workshop
to help parents address the relationship between play and learning,
the need for family rituals and traditions, and the intimacy of
their own relationship. Training session required and meeting with
couples on a rotating basis. Workshops are scheduled quarterly.
ADULT CONFIRMATION PREPARATION
Adult Confirmation Preparation (Time and Talent #405)
Assists the deacon in planning and presenting catechetical sessions for adults preparing to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation. The preparation series is offered in the Spring of each year after Easter and is completed on Pentecost.

Preparation
Marriage Preparation Team
(Time and Talent #425)
Couples who meet with engaged
couples for discussion and support during preparation for marriage.
Training is provided; meet with couples as needed.
Wedding Coordinator

Work with young couples to provide onsite coordination of the wedding rehearsal and ceremony.
Rite of
Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A.)
The process
whereby adults become full, active participating members of the
Catholic Church.
Team Member
(Time and Talent #450)
Plans the process of Christian
Initiation for Adults through participation in planning session,
weekly meetings and Liturgical events from August to May.
Parish Sponsor
(Time and Talent #451)
Assigned to one of the adults
preparing for welcome into the Catholic faith. The parish sponsor
walks the journey of faith with the candidate and is "there" to help
them feel comfortable and welcomed. Participates in weekly sessions
and planning meetings, from September through April.
Break Open the Word Leader
(Time and Talent #452)
Share Sunday scripture with those
adults of our parish who are preparing to enter the Catholic faith.
Scheduled monthly from November through March.
Prayer Sponsor
(Time and Talent #453)
Assigned to pray for one of the
adults preparing for welcome into the Catholic faith.
Hospitality Team

Act as hosts for various social
gatherings recognizing milestones in RCIA process. |
