GENERAL FOOD, SHELTER, CLOTHING PROGRAMS

St. Vincent De Paul Society (Time and Talent #701)
Outreach organization that assists the less fortunate in our community.  Members of our society meet our clients in their homes to assist them with financial, emotional and spiritual support. The society also coordinates food and clothing drives as well as Adopt a family at Thanksgiving, Christmas and at Easter.

Emergency Outreach  (Time and Talent #702)
A group of parishioners who are willing to provide assistance for families in need due to a crisis in the family.  The type of assistance offered may include meals, laundry, babysitting, shopping, etc.

Transitional Housing (Time and Talent #703)
Assisting and mentoring families who are in danger of becoming homeless, to regain their self-sufficiency and learn to cope better with daily life.    New mentors complete training and then have weekly meetings with guest family

P.A.D.S. - Public Action To Deliver Shelter (Time and Talent #704)
Provide and serve meals, socialize and supervise shifts with our outreach to the homeless here at the Corpus Christi shelter.  Time varies September - May.  Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.

Respect Life Committee (Time and Talent #708)

elp the parish become aware of the reverence and respect for life, from womb to tomb.

Elizabeth Ministry (Time and Talent #705)
An outreach to women in special times of motherhood.  The purpose of this ministry is to affirm, support, encourage, and assist in response to the needs of women during the childbearing years.  A few meetings per year.

PRAYER & BEREAVEMENT

Grief Support (Time and Talent #706)
Parishioners who walk with those experiencing loss of a loved one through cards, phone calls and perhaps visits.  Eight hour grief training session required.

Prayer Network (Time and Talent #707)
The assignment is PRAYER.  Contacted on a regular basis to pray for particular intentions of our faith community.  The praying is done individually --- no meetings or gatherings required.

Lend-a-Hand (Time and Talent #709)
