Various programs are offered to prepare for the celebration of sacraments. Each provides opportunities to minister.

WELCOME YOUR CHILD – Baptism and Beyond

Welcome Your Baby: Baptism Preparation Team (Time and Talent #401)
Couples who help to prepare parents for the baptism of their baby by facilitating a workshop covering the sacred dimension of parenting and the sacrament of Baptism. Workshops are held every other month on the second and third Sundays from 10am – Noon.

Baptismal Coordinators(Time and Talent #402)
Individuals who are responsible for welcoming, coordinating and directing the movement of the parents, with their babies to be baptized at weekend liturgies. Available at one of the weekend liturgies the first weekend of each month, excluding Advent and Lent.


Adult Confirmation Preparation (Time and Talent #405)
Assists the deacon in planning and presenting catechetical sessions for adults preparing to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation. The preparation series is offered in the Spring of each year after Easter and is completed on Pentecost.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A.)

The process whereby adults become full, active participating members of the Catholic Church.
