Youth Ministry –
Junior High and High School Programs
Youth
Ministry’s focus is to continue religious education for those
parishioners that are in the 7th thru 12th
grades. Students in grades 7 & 8 are in the Jr. High program and
are preparing for reception of the sacrament of Confirmation. Those
in High School have their own programs. Our goal is to nurture the
spiritual seeds that have already been planted. To achieve this
task we rely on adults in the following areas: (NOTE: One does not
have to be an expert; simply a desire to share their faith
experience(s) with a group of eager teens. Training is offered
along with resources to enhance one’s abilities.)
All adults
who work with children are required by the Diocese to submit to a
criminal background check and to complete a three-hour workshop on
